On 15 April 2025, the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, visited the handicraft stall at the tourism village of Ruiya Garhi in Hardoi district. He admired the exquisite craftsmanship displayed by the women artisans and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in their work. His visit aimed to boost local artisans and showcase the rich heritage of the region.
The Chief Minister was in Ruiya Garhi to commemorate the victory day of Raja Narpat Singh, a revered ruler of the area. As a mark of respect, he offered flowers to the king’s statue, acknowledging his contributions and legacy. The event highlighted the significance of preserving cultural traditions and empowering local talent, reinforcing the state’s commitment to heritage, tourism, and skilled craftsmanship.
